Black Poncho Scarves

Black is the colorway people come back for, and it runs through nearly every pattern we weave. Most are two-tone rather than flat black, which is what keeps them from reading as plain.

  • Impossible to get the size wrong

    One size, and it drapes from the shoulders instead of fitting the body. Nothing to measure, and nothing awkward to ask before you buy one for someone else.

  • One piece, five different looks

    Move the seam and the same scarf reads as a soft cowl, an asymmetric drape or a clean poncho. Loop it at the neck or leave it open on the shoulders and it is a scarf and a shawl too. A printed sheet showing all five comes with every order.

  • Rarely flat black

    Most of these are two-tone, with copper, white, gray, brown or red worked through the weave. That is what keeps a black piece from reading as plain.

Most patterns, one color

Large paisley, rose floral, tribal floral, circle, border, jacquard and semi solid all come in black, along with the heavier Cozy and Fuzzy weave for winter.

It goes with more than you expect

Because the second tone is woven in rather than printed, a black piece picks up whatever it is layered over instead of flattening against it.

Everything else is the same

One size, pulled on over the head, worn with the seam at the front, the side or the back depending on the day.
